Hole in the Wall Drywall Repair Pitches-in for Habitat for Humanity
As a professional drywall repair company, our team enjoys participating in community-development efforts like Habitat for Humanity, where we can lend our expertise for the greater good
Working alongside our friends at the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), Hole in the Wall Drywall Repair was privileged to participate in the building of several homes in April 2019, in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando & Osceola County. Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit organization that aims to provide a roof for families without any cost to future home owners.
With their focus of “Driven by a vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live,” Habitat Orlando & Osceola coordinates volunteers and corporate partners to build new homes for people in need. The organization also provides repairs to existing homes in Central Florida, pulling in the skill and muscle of volunteers from every walk of life. Case in point, in 2018 Habitat for Humanity built 29 new homes and made repairs on 91 existing homes right here in the Greater Orlando area.
At Hole in the Wall Drywall and Restoration we made a commitment to our community and encouraged our employees to volunteer the hours needed to complete a new home in Apopka, Florida. While drywall repair is our core, we know that volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity project requires a strong set of arms to help carry materials, tools and assemble all elements of a sound and safe home.
Our Hole in the Wall Drywall Repair volunteer team—which consisted of experienced drywall repair techs Mike Tursi, Mike Elliott, Charles Harris, and Matt Lansing—contributed with a wide range of tasks. Among these were laying sod to help create an attractive lawn, interior and exterior painting, professional trim work, and of course, drywall work.
Hole in the Wall Drywall Repair is built on family values and community service. We love the work we do and share the quality we deliver when we have an opportunity to serve others.
We are grateful to our Hole in the Wall Drywall Repair team, as well as to our partner volunteers with NARPM for making this a successful project. More importantly, this was an exceptional opportunity to provide a valuable service to our Central Florida community and pay-it-forward.
At Hole in the Wall Drywall and Restoration, we are Central Florida’s leader in finding and removing hidden water, as well as making any necessary repairs on your drywall. And if mold has started to grow in your home, we are highly qualified to remove it, protecting your family from mold-related illness and your home from further damage.
